Apple launches the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max

15 September 2018

This time around, the iPhone XS will stay at the $999 mark while the iPhone XR will use cheaper materials and sell for about $750.

The smartphone maintains a 5.8-inch display but with an even thinner bezel, bringing the screen even closer to the edge. The Max model looks to be about the size of the iPhone 8 Plus, though the screen size is much larger. The company also made mention that the phones are made from surgical grade stainless steel. In addition, the watch can also measure of the user's heart rate is beating unusually slow or fast, on a day-to-day basis.

Apple also said that its next major update to its iOS operating system will come next Tuesday, followed a week later by a Mac software update. This technology integrated the CPU and GPU with it to accomplish these feats. But we can't really tell the difference from these snaps.

All three phones have the company's faster A12 Bionic processors and are water resistant. But don't expect any retailers to beat those headline prices, as Apple gets very protective about its RRPs for at least a few weeks following launch. It's an interesting feature if you're a Siri user.

Apple's Phil Schiller introduced the new iPhones at their annual event. The company's latest smartwatch gets several upgrades as well as new features. One of the featured gaming experiences was Elder Scrolls. This time Apple has also given dual SIM support. It's very comparable to other phones like the Note9 or Pixel 2 XL.

About 26.9% of the state's generation now comes from hydro, with 26.9% from renewables and 43.3% from natural gas. SB 100 has been a two-year project by de León, who will face off against sitting U.S.

"I am going to go out on a limb and say the XR is going to become Apple's top-selling iPhone", said analyst Patrick Moorhead of Moor Insights. However, the XR loses out on 3D Touch and relies on Taptic Feedback for launching the camera or the flashlight. It has an improved dual camera (still arranged vertically) with adjustable depth of field. On the top of the device is a notch which houses the front camera and the Face ID.

Apple says that the device, which starts at £399, will have the same 18-hour battery life as the previous Apple Watch.

Among the health-related features, Apple has added a fall detection option, that will alert emergency services and family members within 60 seconds if you don't respond. While its removal can be seen as penny pinching (and with Apple you never know), the actual use that adapter got is of suspect, considering most people just use the bundled EarPods or possibly get the AirPods.

Finally, Apple unveiled the iPhone XR.

Both the iPhone XS and XS Max are available in three storage variants. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch 4 begin on September 14, while shipping starts September 21.
