Apple may or may not reveal the new laptop Wednesday, when it is holding a press event on its campus in Cupertino, California.
While the photos do spoil a little bit of Apple's surprise, until Apple CEO Tim Cook and his lieutenants detail exactly why the company has designed the products the way they have, all we'll have is snippets and bits of rumours - not the complete, official story.
Samsung, the world´s biggest smartphone maker, last month unveiled its latest flagship handset, the Galaxy Note 9, and next month Apple rival Google will hold an event at which it is likely to showcase new Android-powered top-end Pixel phones. The event kicks off at 10:00 AM Pacific, or 1:00 PM Eastern, and if Apple does have a lot to talk about we may see the company just dig right into it. The same site also spotted the iPhone Xs listed on the Apple website for a brief period, and the screenshot shows availability pegged for September 21. If the rumors surrounding these new devices give us some certainties, there are still some additional surprises that may arise at the last minute. "These are basically incremental "tock" upgrades for the current iPhone X and it's now joined with a larger Max model that's purported to have a 6.5" OLED screen. Here's everything you need to know about tomorrow's event.
An iPad Pro with USB-C could also be a massive step towards iPads that could realistically replace your computer, as per Apple's marketing that claims iPads can replace traditional computers like laptops.
The 5.8 and 6.5-inch models may be called iPhone XS, indicating at mostly under-the-hood updates, with the larger model rumored to be differentiated with the "Max" moniker, instead of "Plus". Last year, Apple started selling the iPhone X in November, almost two months after its official launch.

Macerkopf reports the iPhone 9 would cost €799, the iPhone XS would sell for €909, and the iPhone XS Max is going to cost €1,149. Other persistent rumors talked about Apple releasing not one, but 3 iPhones which will be officially launched on September 12 .
Beyond the XS and XS Max, completing the set in 2018 may be a budget version of the iPhone X. If so, that would mean the home button, the circular button that made the iPhone instantly recognisable, will be no more. Apple is also rumoured to add Retina Display to this year's MacBook Air.
One new iPhone was likely to be priced slightly lower than the X model to "capture the next wave of buyers" in markets such as China, western Europe and the USA, according to Moorhead.
Industry analysts expect the price of new iPhones to start from Dh3,200 and it could go beyond Dh4,500.
Apple introduced the Touch Bar in 2016, debuting it on its high-end MacBook Pro laptops.
Just don't expect Apple to make that mistake ever again.
