Les Moonves Says He Is "Deeply Saddened" To Leave CBS

The advocacy group Times Up said in a statement on Sunday afternoon, "We will accept nothing less than full transparency of the investigation's findings, a commitment to real change across all levels of CBS management and no reward for Les Moonves".

Les Moonves had been under investigation at CBS since allegations of sexual misconduct were first reported by The New Yorker in July.

Osbourne said that she was asked "a couple of months ago" to make a statement in support of Moonves when the first wave of accusations came to light. But many observers were wondering what his wife, Julie Chen, would have to say.

As it turned out, Chen made a decision to skip the episode entirely. "I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on 'Big Brother.'" Her co-hosts had no choice to discuss the situation, and they were visibly uncomfortable.

Sharon Osbourne opened The Talk on Monday by saying, "It's a bittersweet day", marking Season 9 in the immediate wake of the disruption in Chen's life. "Anyone who knows me knows that the person described in this article is not me".

But as part of CBS' settlement with Moonves, which was included in a filing with the SEC on Monday, the company agreed that it "shall seek to preserve the confidentiality" of the reports into Moonves' conduct "to the maximum extent possible consistent with fiduciary duties of directors and all applicable laws".

If you don't know, Leslie and Julie married back in 2004. Osbourne admitted she was asked to give a statement about Moonves and did, but now can not support him. The myriad claims range from being forced to perform oral in the workplace and exposing himself to women, as well as physical violence and intimidation. "But now after seven more women have come out ― the stories are so similar, the pattern is so similar, that for me, he's not been convicted of any crime but obviously the man has a problem".

Co-host Sara Gilbert also spoke up with support for Chen.

An affordable Model Y SUV is slated to join Tesla's high-end Model X crossover and Model S auto , but not before 2020-21. It's been a while coming, but earlier today Mercedes-Benz finally unveiled its first mass-produced electric SUV.

"Julie is our friend, this is our ninth season and we've been together since the beginning".

O'Donnell said that Moonves had always treated her "fairly and with respect". "It is systematic, and it is pervasive in our culture", O'Donnell said. All women's stories matter.

Eve, who joined the show a year ago, added that "I've now come to care for every woman at this table and this is ridiculously hard".

Osbourne said, "Everybody here at CBS is nervous about their jobs", and added that she is particularly concerned about the crew.

She went on to say she can't wait for the day where "women are equal, where these stories won't have to happen anymore".

On Monday, she told Good Morning America that the incident and others where he allegedly harassed her cost her her career.

"As I understand the allegations, and he denies them, but as I understand them, they allege that he used his corporate authority to badger and in some cases to force women to touch his body and in a way that they didn't want to", he said.

Sheryl Underwood hailed Chen as a "strong" and "resilient" women, then suggested that this scandal and other #MeToo revelations represent "a blessing from God, to be unburdened from secrets and unchained from lies". But when it's somebody that you know, what do you say, how do you feel?
