Nintendo Announces Four New Characters For "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'"

10 August 2018

Returning favorites with new visuals and tweaks will make up most of the stages in Super Smash Bros.

It's also been pointed out that neither of these stages could be seen in the overview that showed all the 103 stages that Nintendo showed off, indicating that these wouldn't be typical stages. You can disable all stage hazards if you like, or select two stages before a match that will unpredictably "morph" into each other.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate limited edition right after the Smash Bros Nintendo Direct. When it comes to choosing music, the library you have available will be tied to the stage and the franchise it comes from. Ultimate for the Switch.

There will, of course, be new items and Pokemon to use in Super Smash Bros Ultimate too. "He'll assist the player with his Crissaegrim sword, and vampire powers".

Well, sort of. There are actually only two *brand* new pugilists, plus three extra "Echo" fighters - altered clones of existing characters. Rathalos is the first assist trophy that can also appear as a boss on a stage.

USA sets date for additional China tariffs
The trade balance between the two countries, which is at the center of the tariffs tussle, continued to be in favor of China. April 4: China rolls out a listof more than 100 USA goods worth roughly $50 billion that are subject to retaliatory tariffs.

Nintendo doesn't care about those arguments however, just as they didn't care about Ridley being too big or the implications of returning every single Super Smash Bros. character.

Simon and Richter Belmont stake their claim on Smash Bros.

Another welcome addition is the inclusion of a structured Tourney mode, so players in larger groups can spend less time making brackets and more time competing. Players will have 28 hours worth of music tracks to pick from, but you won't be able to play just any theme music on any stage. It's been one hell of a day for Smash, and if the game keeps growing on top of this, I can't imagine how stacked the site will be come December.

Whatever it is, it'll likely get announced soon as the director mentioned there are still more fighters and aspects of Ultimate to dive into.

Because of these additions, Training mode sounds like it's going to be a great way to learn a new character quickly. His Final Smash, meanwhile, is the Grand Cross; it stuffs opponents into a coffin and launches them. We've embedded the VOD of the livestream below so you can watch all of the announcements, so check it out if you have a half-hour to spare. Ultimate fans! We've got exciting news today if you like playing your Smash with a Gamecube controller. The craziest thing is that Nintendo isn't even done revealing things. Besides a new stage based on an actual grid that helps measure distance, it can also transition into a Battlefield-style stage complete with platforms.
