What’s New For Amazon’s Prime Day? Deals At Whole Foods

04 July 2018

On Prime Day, we'll be posting up the best deals we can find for you, so prepare your method of payment for the festivities.

Amazon is gearing up to unleash special discounts and cut prices ahead of its annual summer sale and this year's bargain rush could be bigger than ever before. Here are all the details!

Although some of the deals Amazon will offer on Prime Day will last all day, others won't.

The first Amazon Prime Day in Australia starts at 12pm AEST on the 16th of July and runs through until midnight on the 17th of July. If you aren't a subscriber already, you can choose to sign up for the 30-day trial free of charge before deciding to pay $12.99 monthly or $119 annually.

That's it for our Amazon Prime Day top tips. Amazon promises an additional 10 percent off hundreds of sale items at Whole Foods and deeper discounts on some popular products.

Amazon Prime Day will include more than 1 million deals exclusively to Prime members around the world, according to a press release. "We have added more selections in organic products, Japanese consumables and Korean beauty, just to name a few".

A final good-bye: Toys R Us closes its doors forever
It was only a few months later in January 2018 that the chain announced it would close 180 stores thanks to its $5 billion debt. In the UK, Toys R Us shut its final locations in April, but watching the animal waving goodbye really marks an end of an era.

The company is also offering a new experience to customers this Prime Day with Virtual Reality (VR) outlets at 11 malls across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.

You can get three months of Kindle Unlimited for $0.99 right here on Amazon's site. Buy your first Kindle book and get a $10 Prime Day credit valid towards eBooks, print books and Audible. Members will also receive exclusive in-game loot for Warframe and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS.

The shopping spectacular has also been a driver of Prime membership, which now stands at more than 100 million worldwide. And when the festivities kick off on July 16, Amazon's website will be filled with deals.

If you have the time to browse through deals in the morning, you can track upcoming Lightning Deals using the Amazon Shopping app.

"They want Prime to be a must-have membership", says Suzanne Tager, who heads Bain & Co.'s retail and consumer products practices. That is by far the best deal in streaming.

The company states that there will be over a million deals that come and go through the event, and we know there is no way you'll be able to keep up with all of that. Realizing that, you'll want to keep checking Amazon's Lightning Deals page to see if you can find victor.
