The new version of macOS is called Mojave and it brings a lot of the under-the-hood developments to the desktop ecosystem and CEO Tim Cook described it "chock full of new features".

The new version is macOS 10.14 known as macOS Mojave to continue the naming scheme of California landmarks. This mode, once activated, turns the task bar, dock, folders and more aspects of the desktop to a dark grey colour. This is one of the biggest updates for Mac in a long time but there seems to be little in store for developers. Now, the feature is being revamped to make a system-wide change. Apple TV will detect the user's broadband network and automatically sign them in to all the supported apps they receive through their subscription. Apart from all these new features, the Mac Store also offers a view to the most popular apps with Top Charts.

If you ask Apple, here is how the company describes the macOS Mojave.

Pompeo: 'Rudy Doesn't Speak For The Administration' On North Korea
He said the North Korean nuclear issue should have been handled by previous USA administrations, adding: "I'll take care of it". In a December 2017 interview with Stephen Colbert, Rodman offered to work as an envoy to North Korea.

As Apple's Craig Federighi pointed out during the WWDC 2018 keynote, it's not like Macs don't have access to multiple software environments already. Apple says recent versions of Chrome or Firefox browsers will be able to access the live stream as well. The update is bringing a Walkie-Talkie app that allows users to press a buttong to record a message, then release that button to send it. In fact, this happens to be the initial fruits of a continued effort on the part of Apple to introduce more of iOS apps to Mac.

Apple used its WWDC 2018 keynote to announce some of the fantastic new features and functions coming to its operating systems across multiple platforms. In the same vein, Apple is bringing more of its iOS apps to the mac. The App Store now has Work, Play and Create categories to help you identify the kind of apps you are searching for. The new OS will be available this fall as a free software update for Macs introduced in mid-2012 or later, plus 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro models with recommended Metal-capable graphics cards. The first step Federighi stated was getting an iOS framework in place in macOS so iOS apps work like they should in a desktop environment: trackpad support, window resizing and the like. Considering how the Measure app will come standard on iOS 12, users will have little reason to download a second AR measuring app from the App Store unless it has other special features or abilities. While Safari saw a number of safety features, even the MacOS 10.14 will focus of security and privacy features.
