A Philadelphia woman who was punched by an officer on a New Jersey beach says allegations that she spit on police are untrue.

The 20-year-old woman now faces several charges, including aggravated assault on a police officer.

Two officers from Wildwood Police Department were filmed trying to restrain her, with one male officer striking the woman twice in the head as she is forced into the sand before she is placed in handcuffs. "You're about to get dropped".

"You're not allowed to hit me and choke me like that", Weinman shouts.

"Alright, that's it. I'm done with you", the officer responds. She tells them the unopened alcohol belongs to her aunt, who is on her way to the beach.

The officer asked Weinman for her name, which she refused to give, according to the post. She also shouts obscenities at the officers the entire time.

Weinman was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, aggravated assault by spitting bodily fluids on a police officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstruction and minor in possession of alcohol.

Weinman said in a Facebook post she was approached for underage drinking.

Wildwood's mayor says the incident was not a reflection of the Jersey Shore town. One officer is heard saying saying he's "done with" her and works with another cop to try to arrest the woman.

How much will Roseanne Barr lose after racist tweet scandal?
Barr later deleted the tweet and said it was a joke, adding "I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans". And Barr has now been dropped by her agents over the racist tweet .

As Weinman shouts for her boyfriend, she turns around and slams an officer in the chest, which police say caused his camera to turn off. "She assaults them, she spits at them, she kicks them, but right away the police officer at that point did what he had to do", said Troiano. "I can not breathe!" she cries out.

Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto says he finds the video "alarming" but doesn't want to "rush to any judgment" until the investigation is complete. The beachgoer said she woke up to the altercation and began filming.

The officers have been reassigned to administrative duty during the investigation.

"The number of people who think she got what she deserved is appalling", Dicht said.

"From what I see on the video and only on the video, from not even talking to the officers, I think they did a decent job", Regalbuto said.

Police on Wednesday identified three officers involved in the incident as Class II special law enforcement patrolmen Thomas Cannon, John Hillman and Robert Jordan.

"This young lady attacked our officer", Troiano said.

Weinman has a summons to appear in court on June 15.
