05 April 2018

The Baltimore Ravens announced on Twitter Wednesday that Griffin and the team had reached a deal on a one-year contract. The Baltimore Ravens have come to terms with the former 2011 Heisman Trophy victor on a one-year deal.

"He had a real good workout and we were able to come to an agreement".

The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Griffin figures to be the primary backup to Ravens starter Joe Flacco, as Ryan Mallett is the only other quarterback listed on Baltimore's depth chart.

The Baltimore Ravens are dipping into the quarterback market. He's had a lot of success in this league early on.

London Passes New York City in Murders for First Time Ever
A Sunday Times report found England's capital recorded 15 murders across the month, which was one victim more than NY . A third incident on Sunday evening left a 16-year-old boy in hospital after he was stabbed near Bow in east London.

Griffin made the move look good at first. That either means Griffin is not a lock to make the team or Baltimore might be interested in keeping three quarterbacks on the roster this season. "I'm really feeling like we got a steal".

He spent 2016 with the Browns, only playing in five games because injuries struck again. The former #2 overall pick had a great rookie year, but struggled after that following injuries. Head coach John Harbaugh had this share about the Ravens' newest teammate. After a wonder rookie season, which saw him complete 65.6 percent of his passes for 3,200 yards, 20 TDs and only 5 interceptions. However, injuries, poor play and a constantly changing coaching staff contributed to Griffin's exit from Washington.

Griffin started seven games in 2014 before Washington handed the starting job over to Cousins on a full-time basis.

RG3 returned in 2013 but was benched after throwing 16 TD passes and 13 interceptions.

"I felt like he really wanted to be here, really wanted to be a Raven, felt like this was the place for him", Harbaugh said.
