Jaguars' Ngakoue: Bills' Incognito used 'racist slurs'

09 January 2018

During the Jaguars' open locker room session today, Ngakoue declined to discuss the specifics of his tweet.

Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue indicated on Twitter Sunday night that Richie Incognito directed a racial slur toward him during Jacksonville's win over the Buffalo Bills, and the National Football League is looking into the allegation.

Ngakoue, whose father is a native of Cameroon and whose mother is from the West Indies, said Incognito insulted his ethnicity.

"Great win to day!"

Ngakoue first made his claim Sunday night on Twitter, saying Incognito was going to "have to come harder than some weak racist slurs". I'm proud of my African heritage, as are 70% of the other Black players in this league. Martin has since retired, while Incognito signed with the Bills in February 2015 and has played three solid seasons in Buffalo.

The lawsuit also alleges Google's hiring practices includes "illegal hiring quotas" that favor women and other minority candidates.

In an ugly NFL playoff game, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Buffalo Bills 10-3, advancing to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs where they'll take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Richie Incognito, the Buffalo Bills guard involved in a bullying scandal five years ago, used racial slurs during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, an opponent alleged. Jaguars defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, formerly of the Bills, said he was unaware there was an incident.

"Did I confront him? Nah". It was there that he eventually was embroiled in the Martin controversy that culminated in 2014, also involving OL coach Jim Turner and then-teammates Mike Pouncey and John Jerry.

Jones said he could tell Ngakoue was upset but wasn't sure why. I'm all about trash talk. "You hear all type of stuff", Ngakoue added. "That's why we have this platform to use to try to help bring change".
