Health officials: 6 Oklahomans have died from the flu this season

The bulk are in the Phoenix metro area, but Coconino County also reports an increase this year with 77 confirmed cases.

Flu activity season begins in October and lasts through late May, with cases peaking between December and February.

The week ending November 25 saw 204 flu and flu-like cases reported in the county.
