"We have made an arrangement to produce six seasons of "House of Cards"," Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said at a UBS media conference.

Indie Wire reported that the six season will end with focus exclusively on Robin Wright's character, Claire Underwood, according to Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos.

The future of the show has been up in air recently following the many allegations of sexual abuse against the show's star Kevin Spacey.

Additionally, director Ridley Scott also removed the actor from his upcoming film 'All the Money in the World, ' with Christopher Plummer.

Actor Anthony Rapp made the initial allegations, saying Spacey made unwanted moves on him in his NY apartment in the 1986, when Rapp was a 14-year-old stage actor. Spacey addressed the accusation on Twitter, apologizing for the act but saying he didn't remember it. Robin Wright will take the spotlight in the new chapter, which is set to be the show's last. Robin Wright, who plays the president's wife Claire Underwood, will assume the lead role.
