Oh Google! Despite the search giant's continued efforts to host a clean marketplace, its Play Store keeps distributing malicious apps. Files To Go recommends you to remove the rarely-used apps from your phone to improve its speed.

Given how all the slots in the early access program were filled earlier this week, many turned to sideloading the app. In response, Google vice president Caesar Sengupta tweeted last night that they were making it "available for a few more of you on the Play Store". The app isnt finished, and may freeze when you try to refresh the apps home screen.

Photos and videos are the most likely file-type to be clogging up people's smartphones, and Google Photos already offers a way to sort through duplicates. To share any image or document via Files To Go, go the Files Tab and simply tap on the Send button. Files Go is clearly meant to rival Apple's AirDrop.

That said, the app isn't a full-fledged file manager.
